Extra! Extra! (12:06 AM)
After overcoming a huge obstacle yesterday, which I chose not to disclose here in case it gets 'googled' somehow.
Everytime you face something bad, or what everyone says 'shit happens', look forward to the next day. It'll be better. (unless your shit is going to happen the next day)
Yesterday was crazy. Reached the office at 0830hours, headed to the Marina Waterfront Viewing Gallery with Geraldine only to realise the army guy for NDP team misplaced our press release! We rushed to Xprint, then back to the platform again!
On the way back, we stapled all the papers on the taxi and upon reaching, gerald yelled some racist remarks 'if the xxx ask, tell her tt we haven't signed out', caused me to laugh. As usual, her random comments would tickle me.
Today in the office was pretty much seat allocation for fireworks, chasing the same old people. RP volunteers, fireworks ops.. Well, got yelled at over the phone because I called Jim and realised i found the stuff i needed (to help him pass it to his friend), like wtf. I vow harder and harder that I am going to be influential and powerful in future.
For now, I just take things easy and laugh it off, not forgetting to learn from experiences. Wow, how I wish my dream would come true soon.
I'd stop by neil rd with my ferrari, step off, go up and talk to them and 'return' whatever favour the people gave to me and leave with 'seh'. hahahaha.
Well, the old saying goes: life of an intern... sucks.
