Extra! Extra! (2:37 AM)
this is my 100th post on this blog since March 08. I don't really keep up with my blog that often. Just that while I'm waiting for NS there seem to be much more to be said and much more going through my head.
Recently, having 1 month left before enlistment, I've been spending time with loved ones; like making effort to do so lah. I miss some people whom I haven't seen in quite awhile too.
I think life of a Singaporean is pretty short, in a way. We idle our way into Kindergarden. We start primary school and mug for PSLE. Next, we mug for O levels. Then, we either mug for A levels and head on to NS(guys) then finally obtain a degree, or we do our Diploma, NS, Degree/Go out to work.
we will then proceed to work for the longest period of our lives... retire and die. worst if you work and whine every day like life's a bitch, because life is too short to think that way.
although our average lifespan is pretty old, but I feel that the time that we get to do what we really want, (travel and see the world for me) is so limited because if you're born in SG you're shouldered with lots of responsibilities since young.
and the root of all problem for most of us? money.
I honestly hope I don't end up the average singaporean because I won't be contented with that. well of course, everyone tend to hate their superiors/bosses one way or another. My solution is becoming my own boss because I'm too much of a narcissist to hate myself. hahahaha!
I want to complete my first backpacking trip by 24 and settle down by 30. I want to own a pet shelter to retire in and help animals along the way.
I've so much plans all the way till the end of my life.
Oh, for now, I want to meet all the friends I haven't met in quite a while. Pls call me out if you're free!
