Extra! Extra! (8:38 AM)
I thought it'd be interesting to keep a record of my first impressions of people! Decided to spend a little time here before I book-in at 1925 tonight.
Army life might be hectic, tiring, sometimes treated like pathetic low-life form by the sgts, but thank god I've good section mates. If I could rank what's the best thing in army that will be knowing great guys and working with them.
I wanted to write about my PC and PS, but i think leave it first lah. dont know if its sensitive anot. however it's all good things lah.. I quite like our company's PC and my PS. Respect.
Bed 1 - Helmet (Yu Long) - Very helpful and nice guy, always the one to help us find out standards, like standby bed, how to fold this and that, what is the correct way of doing things.
Bed 2 - Khai - Needless to say la, knew him before enlistment. Numboy. Training buddy. Has quite similar mindset towards training and targets. Oh yeah, he can imitate people. Nice guy too.
Bed 3 - John - Like to drink alcohol. GOOD. same as me. Very funny guy.. Especially when he makes fun of other people and gives ah beng lectures. like to listen to his jokes.. haha.
Bed 4 - Kelvin - Friendly and helpful.. Malcom (army daze) lookalike. Has a gf that he really loves. can tell. needs to work on his upper body strength!
Bed 5 - Jeremine - How do I start! my buddy man. bonded quite well with this guy man. thank god he's my buddy. been pushing each other, sharing jokes and woes, cover each other and helping each other with reminders and stuff. I think he'll be a really good friend down the road.
Bed 6 - Thats me.
Bed 7 -Shawn - Meal IC, Firearms Personnel, Always right marker, always reminding people things during drills, want to be best recruit, best PT.. ... Sibei Chiong lah. this is hanlong's canoe teammate. Always going the extra mile putting in extra effort.
Bed 8 - Heng - Huat ah! Funny guy. Love talking to him too. always laughing at random things with him. jokes same frequency... Always plays the hp radio to keep us in contact with outside world... lol.
Bed 9 - Wu Han - He may look like a small boy but he definitely has the guts and attitude of a great one! Helpful guy who lent me gutter when i was in a rush and not able to find mine.
Bed 10 - Glen - Pretty nice guy but think he's still adapting to army life.. Lost his rifle on friday because sgts want to saboh him.
Bed 11 - Jun Hui (the rock) - Thank god he's in our section too. Ex-NCC guy who has knowledge to a lot of army stuff.. Our mentor in a way. Helps us in things like standby bed arrangement, drills and very good marching timer. We will thank god when he chup in to stop those lousy timers.
Bed 12 - Ming Hui - Basketballer, nice guy, easy to talk to, always smiles and cooperates. easy going. Great to have him with us. 2.4km he clocked under 10 minutes. Respect. All of us feel that he got PTI or FS potential.
Bed 13 - Chong Ming - GES Bballer who lives in telok blangah. got alot of common friends. always kena disturb about his bunk buddy. lol.
Bed 14 - 'Xiao Ming' - just a random character we made up to scare Chong Ming. hur hur.
