Extra! Extra! (11:22 PM)
'Lead without a title', is what Im gonna talk about in this post. Due to the shear fact that I just finished reading that amazing book, I've decided to pin down some thoughts I have, also a form of reminder to myself.
In an organisation, there are many roles, many people, but not all are given appointments to lead. However, that should not deter you from being a leader. Leadership does not apply only to military leader, CEOs or sports team captains. YOU are a leader, in a way or another. The main purpose of this book is actually to enlighten you with the fact that you do not need a title to be a leader, to take great pride in your work. you do not always have to play the 'victim' in your life. Stop bitchin bout your life and start livin!
I'm sure you don't want to step into your grave regretting that you haven't done your best in whatever you wanted to. Or realise that you have led a wasted life and you haven't done anything to contribute during your lifetime, or regret when your loved ones pass away. If you have cherished every moment with your loved ones, you wouldn't have regrets even after they pass away. You know you've done your best. Sure, you will still feel the pain after they leave for the better place, but for the fact that you know you've spent all your time and love on them you know the time aint wasted.
Don't have negative thoughts all the time. It's good to have a sense of danger, but it's never good to be pessimistic. Don't let the society limit you to your goals. They label you, they stop you because they're jealous. Remember, nothing is wrong if you're dead sure you're correct. No point submitting to the public because you're afraid of that few minutes of feeling uncomfortable and feel uncomfortable for the rest of your life.
Do something, anything.
Start now, and be a leader of your own life. If you can't manage yourself, then you can't manage anything else. Be sure to reflect on your life, go through your goals over and over again!
