Extra! Extra! (4:03 AM)
tomorrow marks the 'closure' of officer cadet school (OCS), with the commissioning ball. oh well, they always say, bring someone special/close to your heart.
since I moved on, I think my heart froze, no one special came anywhere near, BUT I really feel that I'm blessed with tons of friends around me, whom cares for me. Anyway, thanks Celina for attending the ball with me. Let me match make you to someone special then. HAHAHA.
feeling still quite sober, I decided to do what I always wanted to do, pin down my thoughts on everyone before I forget about them.. I shall make a recount of the impressions I have of platoon 2 over these 9 months...
Cadets first!
Section 1
Shaowei - Most unforgettable period would be his term as CPC. I dont know if its his voice or his command method, but he's having a hard time with the platoon. Oh well.. It's over, and I'll never forget how me and him dug the MG trench in scorpion king. He's really a nice guy when you speak to him 1 to 1.
Hanafi - Pretty quiet but cool guy. Got his way with the music stuff and all. Hidden talent. Hope he shines at his new unit.
Krishan - I'll never forget how his buddy call him 'Ah N-EH' everyday, and running in to fall in for 5BX. Pretty cool guy, admire his determination when it comes to training. Never fails to lift weights in his free time.
Jeremy Ang - The failed pilot. HAHA. Hates going through shit, has difficulties with the sun. However, never fails to laugh with him over the lamest stuff. he also did a good job with the armskode. nevertheless, really smart guy. cool guitarist.
Daryll Wong - Really nice guy. can easily talk to him, no temper, easy to work with. I remember he and disa overslept for 5Bx and no one knew. hurr.
Johansson - Mr Strong. High flyer and late boomer of the platoon. He's really a fun guy to talk to, has the capability of influencing people in his own ways. never complains no matter how tough his job is. MG GUNNER.
Trevor - The Sunlight of the platoon. Brightens up everyone's days. Never seen him upset before.. and he takes things one step at a time. admire his courage and the way he live his life. awesome guy to hang out with.
Joshua - Another muscle man. Trains really hard. I shouldnt write this but everyone remembers that his bunk stinks. LOL. Anyway really enjoyed working with him in Taiwan. His presence in platoon 2, definitely felt.
Ang Guan Cheong - Rambo, triathelete. Never complains about tough job, in fact complains too simple. puts ppl down when they express weak mindset. Siao on, garang, crazy. In fact, insult to label him garang because he is way more than that.
Heriandy - Cool and smart guy. Nth much to comment, but outstanding performance in admin time. Also another asset to our platoon.
Section 2
Yu Keng Liang (is gay) - or what i recalled outside his bunk. really nice guy to talk to, can click with him. I dont know if anyone noticed it but he did an awesome job as CPS. He was patient, led by example some ways. Maybe need to be more firm la. Too nice already
Ming Jun - Someone finally taller than me. Most of our topics revolve around how tall is good or bad. lol.
Ming wei - walao, wont ever forget mr MATT- EW. Say real one leh. dont bluff me lah. numerous pranks pulled onto him by Disa.. Also prominent platoon 2 guy. I no need to type much, I wont forget this person.
Steven - Another wacky funny guy. I believe his family loves his presence. Witty and funny in his own ways.. and surprisingly kiasee.
Aaron Boo - Been through all the RTs and shit with him. Same plight in IPPT. hahaha. what to do.... anyway nice guy here, seriously. organises all the outings and stuff. kena arrow also do. where to find?!
Eugene - Gung-ho... loves 'public appearences' like parade commander.. hahaha. fit guy who always laughs at my IPPT (you wait).
Shaoyu - We never spoke much, but i can get along and bitch or talk to him abt anything anytime.
Section 3
James Low - Wow, mr SOH. really proud of you. hope you'll do well in 2SIR, absolute faith in you. been through most of the shittiest part of OCS with him.
Joel Choong - Had a little misconception about this guy in the past, but turns out, he probably acted in the way he did because he isn't used to army life, and he belongs to the corporate world. impressed with all the staff aids, keep it up! :)
Bird James William the 2nd - Oh well, its bird we're talking about. never fails to be the active guy he is, always being spontaneous and never gets angry when being teased.
Eddee Peh - my ex. ex buddy la. probably the most knowledgable guy in the wing, smart, absorbs information really quick and is really good in his general knowledge. he'll be taking law after NS, really impressive. keep up the good attitude, man whore!
Kody - Personally i think he is sign on material. mentally tough.. camel of our JCC team. anyway the ironic thing is in camp he really dresses like an ah pek, but amazingly stylish in civilian clothes. handsome thai boy eh. haha.
Albert - Really nice guy with very straight personality. haha.. also sign on material. prominent traits will be his helpful nature towards the course. Thanks for the Olivia Ong tickets anyway. haha.
Daryll Disa Nanayakara - NP Mass Comm boy. stands out from the platoon in terms of the way he lives and stuff. Nice guy, definitely one of my best friends made in OCS. Listened to him bitch about certain people and we'll end up laughing at them.
Ernest - Cool dude. Accepts everything. Takes up sai gang. Loves caveman attitude. I think he belongs to the stone age. hahahaha. Anyway, Party soon.
Weihao - Woah... Where do I start. My OCS buddy. Been through the worst shit with me, we confide in each other. Been there for my break up, our 'i-dont-have-a-social-night-date' nightmare. We can talk about almost anything. I believe the last 3 names are friends I'd keep in contact for life. Prolly for Disa's wedding we cld meet up. hahaha.
I think I missed out some people, but damn lazy to look back. very tired from GCC lah.
Now that we're out in the 'military society', I begin to miss OCS, the shelter we live in. SIGH.
