Extra! Extra! (12:17 AM)
Do you count your blessings frequently? I do, and you should.

I read this book '100 ways to happiness' by Dr Timothy Sharp. He suggested we should regularly keep count of our blessings, and eliminate negative thoughts as much as possible. Although I finished the book at least a year ago, his advice is still strong in my thoughts.

I've always felt that the biggest blessing I have are people around me. I have a lovely family, and I have a great company of friends. Although some army mates proved to be total assholes at times, majority of us get along really well. You meet people from all walks of life. My believe is not to offend people on your way up, because you never know when you will see them on your way down.

In any case, I used to be told that I've been portraying this 'dao' face, which means fierce/arrogant/stuck up, anything negative you can think of basically. Probably because I don't smile alot. I take criticism positively, and now sometimes I smile and laugh too much to be taken seriously. tsk, tsk.

Oh well.

If you feel that your life is in jeopardy or you're always complaining about every small fact of your life. Try this: Challenge yourself. Eliminate ANY negative thoughts that might come to your head for 24 hours. Be it an insult, a negative comment on someone else's dressing, gossips etc. Get all of that out of your head, and instead, change that to a compliment, to anything positive you can think of for that matter.

Anyway, just for recap purposes. I guess thats what blogs are for. Went to Rebel yesterday with Disa, Ernest, CM, JQ, MH, Jeremine, and the 2 girls. Rebecca and CM's new scandal. The DJ was really not bad.. And the crowd. Despite the young and angsty crowd, with a couple of fights, the majority of them turned out to be pretty nice people despite their outlooks.

Dont blame me for judging, the media have already portrayed a certain group of people to be the troublemaker. Bumped into Harris, Selwyn, Kes and Yiyang. Haven't found clubbing fun for such a long time. Episode 1 of Disa gone wild was aired yesterday night, approximately 2am.

Caught 'Hello, Stranger' with Ms Kong today. Who had nothing better to do before meeting her 'clique of friends'. Ahem. Ok la, at least she asked. Long story about the friends part but doesn't matter. Anyway, the film is pretty light hearted and some really good humour were injected into this romance film. I kept smelling a very nice flowery scent in the cinema. I wonder whose perfume was it. =S

The story ended with the happy-go-lucky fella having caught in a sticky situation, whereby he had to choose between 2 really cute thai girls. Goi, his ex-gf of 8 years or 'You', his newly met gf whom shared really dear memories with him over the trip. Gosh you lucky bastard.
