Extra! Extra! (9:53 AM)

Went to be Umpire for my sister batallion, and I must say it is quite an eye opener. I admit I really envy the Platoon Commanders, whom get to train up their own platoon and bring them into battle, despite the use of only blanks.

The fighting spirit, the thought that someone is there to obey any of your command, take bullets for you.... Just feels comforting. These are the people whom you will go to war with.

Furthermore, the PCs are all well-versed in their respective fields, able to make quick and decisive decisions. I must say, since I enlisted, I have really changed my opinions of our army. We are really not that far off from those war movies and world class armies. I am not lying.

Nevertheless, it has been a crazy week. Been outfield all week, am going for quite a few more this month!

Oh anyway, I thought that maybe I should list out what I want to achieve in my army days as an officer.

1. Influence people, especially in HQ company to be more motivated, more disciplined. I want them to get something out of the army, learn something from me.

2. Assist S4 with whatever I can. Obviously this is my default job. But apparently I have no other commitments at the moment, I am bent to keep my work at the highest standard. Time and effort is not an issue for me right now.

3. Gain more friends. After I leave the service, I want to be richer, in terms of my social circle..

4. Save $. Enough said. Lessons from Dec 10 learnt.. :p
